What are your products made from?
We use sisal rope, industrial grade cardboard and melamine wood for our scratching posts.
Where are you based?
We are based in Brisbane, Queensland.
What is your returns and refunds policy?
Due to the nature of the products, we are unable to provide refunds unless the item is deemed faulty. We do not provide refunds for change of mind. If you notice faults in your product, we will need to be notified within 24 hours of receiving your product and contacted via email on info@castillodelgato.com.au. We are not able to accept any products which have been used by the cats due to hygiene reasons,
What areas do you deliver to?
We are able to deliver to all suburbs within 40km of the Brisbane CBD. If you are unsure if your area meets this requirement, please contact us for more information.
What is the process of receiving the order?
Once products have been ordered you will receive a confirmation email and options for delivery dates. Please request one of the dates on offer and we will confirm with you if this is available.
Do you provide products across Australia?
At this stage, we are only taking orders from Brisbane and surrounds. Keep an eye on our Instagram page for updates regarding this.
Do you create custom-made scratching posts?
If you would like to request a custom-made order, please contact info@castillodelgato.com.au and we will assess this on a case-by-case basis.
How long will my order take?
Each scratching post is individually crafted and may take between 2 - 3 weeks to receive this item. Please take this into consideration when ordering.
How do I select the best post for my cat?
It's important to take your cats personality and living situation into consideration when selecting the best scratching post. The Palma is a great entry level post and also takes up minimal space. The Medina and Zaragoza are mid-range posts that are great for all ages and suit multiple purposes including scratching, relaxing and also playing with fur toys. If your cat loves privacy, particularly during sleep time - the Zafra and Catalina include the perfect hide-aways with built-in houses. Most cats love to climb, as it's the perfect simulation for tree climbing especially for indoor cats. Sitting at over 1.6M tall, the Alhambra is the perfect post for the adventurous cat who likes to climb and watch over their surroundings.
